The Assumption College of Nabunturan was conducting a symposium regarding Mediatization of Youth last Nov.20, 2008 with the speaker in the person of Rv. Fr. Christian Buenafe. I had a great time listening to Fr.He's a very comprehensive speaker and able to get the attention of the listener to really listen to him.It's so amazing for a priest like him to actually know about the trends of different kinds of advertisement, Hes really great in informing us with different forms of media.
The speaker pointing out a very important thing regarding Media and it's effect espeacially to the youth, since youth are basically the main target.
Media has been very useful to mankind, an excellent souce of information. However, misused of it are the one who destroyed it, of wht it supposed to be.Media as defined is a channel through which the message is transmitted. Media is a part of communication process.Actually there are different forms of Media.

We are now in a Multimedia age whereby different form of media has been practiced. To some extent Media become the strongest man-made force that can influinced people. Yes, from the way we talk, dress, eat eventually we are then influenced by Media.The values and even our behavior had been greatly influenced by the world of media, to be specific we become slave of it.Media is a good thing but then, too much is of no good anymore.

Internet is a worldwide connection, a common tool of todays generation.Adult, teenager and even youngs ones are fun of using it.Thus, through internet the world become more closer together. With this, it seems that everything is possible.
Internet is indeed a very useful thing, one good thing abouth here is that, you have a worldwide connection. Thus, wherever part of the world you are you can communicate to everyone you want.Internet contribute a lot to the world of Media since, communication through net to every part of the world is clearly done, message by just a second can be recieve immediately and response is done promptly.So, its hassle free.
However, we should be responsible in using it, remember this is being invented for a good purpose,so, never abused used only this always in a good way.

Internet become a tool in media because through it information can be transmitted from anywhere part of the glove you are.We are noe living in unique times and that everthing can be made possible. Through internet we can be updated of what was happening around the world, information no problemo by just click then everthing will be gevin, anything you would like is indeed provided. Chat, friendster is very common today to maintain connection with our friends, family, loveones over the sea in indeed very easy.
More so, through internet you will then be will connected around the world, it seems that the world has been put inside the internet, that how amazingly internet is.Remember, again all this thing should only be done in good purpose.

The painter pointing out a very significant thing, for ,us to visualizes ourselves and to meditate the siatuation of our unfortunate brothers and sisters.We are fortunate enough because we can eat three times a day, we have clothes, good sheater but, while we are experiencing all the good thing in life our brothers and sisters there they are empty stomach, with no proper place to live.
Actually wherever we go, we often saw those kinds of people and yet we just only say, maybe there already used with such situation but, actually there not , the truth is I'm the only one who used to their situation and never do something that can help them.
On the other side, some people are very on how to acquire more money neglecting there concern to other. However no matter how poor they are. They are still very lucky because God is with them, giving always hope. That is why, despite there situation they still managed to survive.We are aware that we are experiencing crices today, so, its really hard to live on this kind of situation but then, hope is never gone, it's always there giving everone strenght to survive.Let us help each other to lighten the load of our brother and sisters.
